Day 2
Arrival at Porto airport and welcome by a French-speaking tour guide.
Then, departure for a panoramic tour that will give you a first glimpse of Porto, a charming city set in a magnificent amphitheater on the banks of the Douro River.
Transfer to your hotel and check into your room.
Welcome drink, dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 3
Lunch at hotel.
This day will be dedicated to a guided tour of Porto, starting with its historic center: discover the São Bento train station lined with Azulejos; the emblematic Bolhão Market; the façade of the dos Clérigos Tower and the Lello bookshop...
Then you'll arrive in the Ribeira district, the soul of Porto, with its labyrinth of alleys and historic squares, a living canvas of Porto's history.

In the afternoon, visit 2 wine cellars and taste Porto wines.

Day 4
Lunch at the hotel.
Day dedicated to discovering the magnificent Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Drive to Lamego for a stroll through the town center of this small Episcopal city. Continuation to a winery and wine tasting.

In the afternoon, cross the valley via Régua and Pinhão, then board a typical Rabelo boat for an unforgettable mini-cruise, a route not visible from the main roads. Let yourself be enchanted by the magnificent landscapes of the Douro: the small hills unveil terraces of vines set against each other, sometimes a few hundred meters above sea level, all following the curves of the mountain and forming a breathtaking landscape.

Day 5
Lunch at the hotel.
Afterwards, departure for Aveiro, nicknamed the “Venice of Portugal” with its canals and splendid moliceiros, boats with large colorful prows. Stroll through the city center to discover its brightly-colored Art Nouveau-style houses. Afterwards, take a boat trip on the ria and sample ovos moles, the local pastry specialty, and a flute of sparkling wine on board.
On to Costa Nova, a fishing village with colorful wooden houses. Continuation to Coimbra, a university town overlooking the Mondego river valley.

Visit to the University of Coimbra, one of the oldest universities in Europe, and its Baroque library, subject to availability, considered one of the most original and spectacular in its style in Europe. Then, explore the lower town on foot, taking in its narrow streets, staircases and historic buildings. On to Nazaré, Portugal's most beautiful fishing village. Dominated by the cliffs, where a promontory called the Sítio is linked to the lower town by a funicular railway, Nazaré offers the chance to see fishermen's wives selling fresh fish or souvenirs dressed in their seven-skirted skirts.

Day 6
Lunch at the hotel.
Departure for Óbidos, a small village that preserves centuries of history within its walls. Take a stroll through this magnificent medieval village surrounded by ramparts, with its white houses with flower-filled balconies and pedestrian streets with small cobblestones. Continuation to Sintra, a favorite vacation spot of sovereigns. Visit to the National Palace (entrance included), declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995. This building is the only survivor of the royal palaces of the Middle Ages. Its two 33-metre white towers have become the symbol of the old town. Free time for a random stroll through the narrow streets to appreciate the stores selling regional products, or to visit one of the pastry shops to sample the famous “queijadas” (fresh cheese and cinnamon tarts).

In the afternoon, discover Cascais, a traditional fishing village, and Estoril, a seaside resort with unrivalled equality of temperature, nicknamed “the land of two springs”.

Day 7
Lunch at the hotel.
Then, off to Setúbal, a port city that has established itself as an authentic and typical destination, where the Atlantic is a constant presence. Visit the historic town center and discover the Mercado do Livramento, voted one of the best fish markets in the world by USA Today magazine.
Dinner at a restaurant to sample fried cuttlefish, the region's traditional dish.
Continuation to Azeitão. Visit to an artisanal Azulejos factory, which maintains the manual production process with its 18th-century origins and earthenware techniques. Visitors can appreciate the various stages in the production process, from glazing to paint finishing. Possibility of purchasing or even painting your own Azulejo ($).
Afterwards, a visit to a wine cellar and tasting of local wines, including the famous moscatel. Next, discovery of the Arrábida Natural Park, with its incomparable beauty, where the blue of the sea alternates with the whitish tones of the limestone cliffs and the green of the dense carpet of vegetation that covers the mountain.

Day 8
Lunch at the hotel.
Departure for Évora, the Museum City, a World Heritage Site. You'll see labyrinthine streets, light-flooded squares, Renaissance fountains, Moorish courtyards, Gothic gates and turrets. Visit the historic center, with Place do Giraldo, the lively hub of the city, partly lined with arcades and adorned with an 18th-century marble fountain; Rue 5 de Outubro, a narrow street that climbs towards the cathedral and is lined with houses with wrought-iron balconies and craft stores. At no. 28, a remarkable niche decorated with azulejos. Then discover the city's main monuments: the Roman temple, the cathedral (excluding the cloisters) and the Church of São Francisco with the Chapel of the Bones, built during the Philippine period (17th century).

Continuation of your journey through typical Alentejano countryside for a visit to a family winery, where you'll discover the vineyards and cellar. This visit will be enhanced by a tasting of local wines. Continuation to the Algarve.

Day 9
Lunch at the hotel.
Day dedicated to discovering the western Algarve, famous for its beaches set against golden cliffs. Departure from your hotel to Lagos, former capital of the Algarve and starting point of the great African discoveries. Stroll through the historic center and discover the golden church of Santo Antonio. Stop at Ponta da Piedade to admire the rock formations.

Continuing on to windswept Sagres, this Finisterre at the extreme south-west of Europe, dropping steeply into the sea, is a place steeped in history and emotion. Discover the Sagres headland, partly occupied by the fortress built in the 16th century (entrance fee included). Continuing on to Cape St. Vincent, 75 m above the ocean, which has always been considered a sacred site (the Romans called it the promontorium sacrum) and is the south-western tip of Europe.

Lunch at your hotel.
Departure from your hotel for the ancient town of São Brás de Alportel, whose wealth was originally due to cork production. Visit the Museu do Traje (Museum of Costume). Exhibitions of traditional vehicles, farming tools and folk art. Subsequent visit to a cork factory (subject to availability), where you'll learn about the process of harvesting and processing cork. Tasting of the traditional liqueur.

Continuation to Moncarapacho, an idyllic little village in the middle of the Olhão countryside. Guided tour of an olive grove to learn about olive cultivation, the olive oil production process and taste the famous olive oil. Return to the hotel.

Depart your hotel for Silves and enjoy the magnificent views of cork oaks, orange groves and picturesque villages. Visit a local farm producing oranges and other citrus fruits. You'll have the opportunity to pick and taste fruit, interact with a variety of animals and learn about local farming practices in a relaxed, picturesque setting.

Departure for the city of Gibraltar, discovery of the historic center, its rock with the famous monkeys, the San Miguel caves used as a hospital during the Second World War.

Day 13

Morning sightseeing tour of Seville by coach, passing along the Guadalquivir, where you'll see the Torre del Oro, the Isla de la Cartuja and the Plaza de España, the jewel of the 1929 Ibero-American Exhibition. Stop off at this magnificent square and stroll through the Maria Luisa Park, an Andalusian-style garden with fountains, statues, pavets and “azulejos”. Then on to Lisbon.

Day 14
Lunch at the hotel.
Day devoted to visiting Lisbon, one of Europe's oldest capitals, which shines for its colors, its ochre lights and its sweetness.
In the Belém district, you'll discover the church of the Hieronymite Monastery (cloisters not included) considered a masterpiece of Manueline architecture. It houses the tombs of Vasco de Gama and Luis de Camoes. Views of the Belem Tower and the Monument of the Discoveries. Visit the Marine Museum. With its captivating exhibits, life-size ship models and unique maritime artifacts, it brings to life the great discoveries and exploits of Portuguese sailors. Taste the famous Pastel de Belém, a creamy flan with puff pastry.

In the afternoon, explore Lisbon's lower town, Praça Dom Pedro IV, better known as Rossio, Praça do Comercio, Rua Augusta. Stop off at a small local bistro for a ginjinja (morello cherry liqueur). Then discover the mythical Alfama district, a veritable labyrinth of winding alleys, wrought-iron balconies and Azulejo panels. Return to hotel.
In the evening, drive to a typical restaurant for an evening FADO dinner.

Depending on flight times, transfer to Lisbon airport. Assistance with boarding formalities.
