Day 1
Montréal - Jakarta
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by your local French-speaking guide and their driver, who will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2
Balikpapan - Sangatta
Upon your arrival in Balikpapan, you will be warmly welcomed by your French-speaking or English-speaking guide (depending on availability), who will accompany you throughout your journey.
You will then undertake a scenic transfer to the charming small mining town of Sangatta, located further north. This first day will already immerse you in the authenticity of this fascinating region, characterized by its lush landscapes and unique culture. Take advantage of the ride to admire the verdant scenery and soak in the local atmosphere.

Day 3
Sangatta - Kutai National Park
At dawn, a motorized boat will transport you along the serenity of the Sangatta River, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, toward the magnificent Kutai National Park.
After a quick check-in at a contemporary and comfortable lodge, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the surrounding jungle. This expedition will allow you to observe wildlife in their natural habitat, including majestic orangutans roaming freely. Returning to the lodge late in the morning, a moment of relaxation awaits you in this modern sanctuary before setting out again on your adventure.
In the late afternoon, the call of the forest's mysteries will invite you to an unforgettable night experience, where the magic of the night reveals a completely different side of biodiversity. Prepare to be amazed by the furtive movements of nocturnal animals that animate this vibrant landscape.

Kutai National Park - Samarinda

You may also catch a glimpse of some crocodiles, fascinating witnesses to this unique ecosystem.
In the afternoon, you will continue your adventure with a transfer to Samarinda. This journey offers enchanting scenery and moments of contemplation on the richness of the surrounding nature.

Balikpapan
