Day 1
It's the big day! The day of departure from Montreal to Cape Town international airport on KLM (or similar airline).
Day 2
Arrival in Cape Town, welcome by our English-speaking guide/accompanist, transfer and accommodation at the Premier Hotel (depending on flight times).
Day 3
Cape Town
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the Water Front, a development project that has returned the port to its traditional atmosphere with plenty of local activities. A cruise to Roben Island follows, allowing you to discover a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a heavy historical past, not least for the role the island played in the imprisonment of Nelson Mandela, Walter Sisulu and Govan Mbeki.
You'll have the chance to take a privately guided tour of the island, and can end the prison visit with a former prisoner. What's more, you'll be able to admire the population of penguins, springboks and other wildlife at your destination.
Day 4
Cape Peninsula
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the wooded bay, commonly known as Hout Bay before boarding a boat to discover Duiker Island, home to the Cape's fur seals.
Continue to Boulders Beach, where you'll discover a penguin colony. Seafood dinner at Bertha's restaurant in Simon's Town. Resume your journey to the Cape of Good Hope and enjoy a breathtaking view from the lookout at ‘'Cape Point’' to contemplate the southernmost point of the African continent.
Return to the hotel before dinner at Marcos African restaurant, offering an authentic African ambience.

Day 5
Cape Winelands Region - Stellenbosch
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the Cape Winelands Region with a visit to the town of Stellenbosch, South Africa's second oldest town offering many examples of Dutch houses.
You can then visit the Berg Kelder wine estate as well as a wine tasting, called the ''Fleur du Cap'' wine house, before enjoying a typical South African dish at a Vredenhein wine estate with tasting at the table. After dinner, discover the breathtaking Kirstenboch Botanical Gardens, one of the most beautiful in the world.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight at the Premier Hotel Cape Town.
Day 6
Cape Town - Franschhnoek - Montague
On this day 6, you'll start your day with breakfast before setting off to visit Cape Town. From the lot, you can see the Old Town Hall with the statue of Nelson Mandela, in front of which he made his first public speech on his release from prison.
In addition, you'll be able to see Parliament, the official residence of the President of the Republic, St. George's Cathedral and the Castle of Good Hope. You'll continue your day with a visit to the Durban Hills winery where Riccardo produces his wine. You'll then continue on to Franschhoek, also known as the “French Corner”.
Dinner at the village restaurant before heading back to Montague for dinner and overnight at the Montague Country Hotel.
Day 7
Montague - Oudtshoorn
On the program for day 7, you start your day with breakfast at the hotel before taking the road to Oudtshoorn where you will visit an ostrich farm ''Safari Ostrich Farm'' where you can combine discovery and learning about the species.
Ostrich meat dinner at the farm before heading off to the Kango Caves, which contain many surreal stalactites and stalagmites as well as Cleopatra's eyrie.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight at the Twinberry Boutique Hotel.
Day 8
Oudtshoorn - Knysna
You'll start your day with breakfast before taking the coach to Krysna and cruise to its huge sheltered lagoon. You'll have dinner on board the ship and then enjoy a period of free time for shopping at the Krysna Waterfront.
Your dinner will then be at the Drodsty restaurant at the Krysna Waterfront before spending your night at the Premier Hotel in Krysna.
Day 9
Knysna - Knysna
Breakfast at the hotel before hitting the road to visit an elephant sanctuary to get a better understanding of their way of life, to be able to rub shoulders with them and even touch them.
You can also dine on site at the Knysna Elephant Park before then visiting the Monkeyland Monkey Sanctuary, home to African primates who will transport you into the forest, and Eden Birds Park, a favorite spot for birdwatchers who will be able to spot a mutitude of species flying in the open air.

Day 10
Knysna - Addo Elephant Park - Port Elisabeth
After breakfast at the hotel, departure by coach for Port Elisabeth while you can visit en route, Big Tree, in the Tsitsikama forest, this more than thousand-year-old tree over 40 meters high before resuming the drive to arrive at Addo Elephant Park, a park publicly established to accommodate the surplus elephants from the Kruger Park.
Lunch followed by a game drive through the park to see all it has to offer. Arrival and dinner at the Kelway Hotel, Port Elizabeth
Day 11
Port Elisabeth - St Lucia Estuary - Zulu Country
After breakfast, you'll depart by coach for the city of Port Elisabeth, where you'll take a tour of the Eastern Cape's largest city. You'll then transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Durban. You'll arrive in Durban in the late morning, after which you'll depart for Zulu country, with a planned stop at the St Lucia estuary, where you'll enjoy a cruise during which dinner will be served.
You'll then have the chance to see families of hippos and crocodiles. You will then take the road to the lodge where you can see a Zulu dance show.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Zulu Nyala Lodge.
Day 12
Zulu country - Swaziland
Starting at 5:30 am, you'll enjoy a two-hour safari in the zulunyala nature reserve, after which you'll have breakfast. After collecting your luggage, you'll set off for Swaziland, a small independent kingdom.
After crossing the border, you'll have dinner and visit the Swazi candle factory.
In the evening, you'll dine and sleep at the Mountain Inn Hotel.
Day 13
Swaziland - Park Kruger
Breakfast at the hotel before taking the bus to Kruger Park. Before leaving Swaziland, you'll visit a glass factory and also the traditional Swazi village, which will offer a show of traditional dances.
Dinner planned in the village before heading back to Kruger Park.
Arrive at Nkambeni Lodge for dinner and bedtime.
Day 14
Kruger Park
Breakfast at the Lodge before setting off by 4X4 for your safari in Kruger Park, which is one of the most species-rich reserves on the entire continent.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before making a late afternoon return to the Lodge.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Nkambeni Lodge.
Day 15
Kruger Park
Kapama Private Reserve Breakfast at the Lodge before taking the bus to Kapama Private Reserve. You will arrive at Kapama Lodge where you will have dinner.
Free time in the early afternoon and at around 4pm, you'll embark on your first game drive in the reserve to discover African wildlife.
You'll return to Kapama River Lodge at dusk for dinner and overnight.
Day 16
Kapama Private Reserve
Breakfast at sunrise and safari departure from 6am by 4X4 vehicle in the reserve. Return to the Lodge and lunch, followed by a period of free time to relax.
Dinner and free time for exploration before setting off in the late afternoon for a sunset safari. You'll enjoy a drink served at sunset to admire the beauty of your surroundings and this unique moment.
Return to Kapama River Lodge for dinner and sunset.
Day 17
Kapama Reserve - Blyderiver Canyon - Pilgrims Rest - Sabie
Breakfast at the lodge before taking the bus to Blyde River Canyon. You'll discover the magnificent Drakensberg region, which offers many natural treasures to cross the Western Transvaal. To enjoy an exceptional panorama, you'll visit ‘'God's Window’', which offers a breathtaking view of the entire region.
Continuing the journey, you'll gain the most spectacular point of the route arriving at Blyde River Canyon which offers a view, 800m below, of the Blyde River which is dominated by a breathtaking canyon. Your lunch will be at Pilgrims Rest, where you'll enjoy a Western-style ride, before departing in the late afternoon for Sabie.
Dinner and overnight stay at Misty Mountain Lodge.
Day 18
Sabie - Johannesburg - Soweto - Pretoria
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by departure by bus to Soweto and Johannesburg. On the way, you'll visit the reconstructed village of Ndebele.
Your dinner will be hosted by a shebeen, a former underground café during the apartheid era. You'll then visit Soweto with a panoramic tour and a stop in front of Pieterson Square to then discover Vilakazi Street, where you'll stop in front of the house of Nelson Mandela and Bishop Desmond Tutu.
After your tour, you'll depart for Pretoria, where you'll stay at Pretoria's Garden Court. You'll dine at the gourmet restaurant La Madeleine before returning to the hotel for bed.
Day 19
Pretoria - Johannesburg - Montreal
Breakfast at the hotel before setting off on the Pretoria city tour. A stop is planned at the Unions Building where the country's government is based before another stop at Church Square, the main location of the Nelson Mandela statue, and at the Voortreker monument.
Continuation to the Apartheid Museum and tour of the museum. Dinner at the museum café and then departure for a final shopping stop in Johannesburg before transfer to the airport for your flight home.
